About the role
We are partnering with a leading Australian engineering and technology company to find a Procurement Excellence Manager. The role focuses on building procurement governance, operational maturity and scalable frameworks to support growth and complex project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Lead procurement governance, supplier management frameworks and KPI development.
- Identify inefficiencies, reduce manual processes and implement solutions to improve performance and compliance.
- Drive procurement reporting, systems improvement and continuous improvement programmes.
- Support broader procurement transformation initiatives across multiple operational and project environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, operations and executive stakeholders to align procurement processes with commercial and delivery objectives.
Required profile
- Proven experience in procurement operations, excellence or transformation within technically complex industries such as advanced manufacturing, engineering, aerospace or technology.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability, able to work strategically and hands‑on.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, influencing engineering, operations and executive teams.
- Track record of improving procurement governance, supplier performance, reporting structures and operational processes.
