Process Operator - 2:1 Roster, Wodgina

About the role

Mineral Resources is seeking Process Operators with wet plant experience to join its team at the Wodgina Lithium Processing Plant. These are full-time, permanent positions on a 2:1 roster, with on-site training and the chance to grow your skills and become a leader.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate all plant sections: Grinding, Flotation, LIMS/WHIMS separation, Thickening, Filtration, Control Room, Concentrate load-out and Tailings disposal.
• Monitor mineral processing circuits, control grinding and separation equipment and perform plant maintenance.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards, conduct daily inspections and optimise operations.
• Carry out other tasks within your competency as directed by the Site Leadership Team.
• Ensure compliance with Company and Site Rules and Regulations, and take part in hazard identification, assessment and control.
• Give input and feedback on plant and operational improvements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated safety commitment and good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow work instructions and work in a team.
• Flexible and versatile attitude.
• Experience in lithium, gold or copper processing operations.
• 4 years or more in a mineral processing environment.
• Current Australian driver's licence, construction induction card, and working at heights, confined space and gas testing tickets (desirable).
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and ability to meet pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening requirements.
