Process Assistant – Warehouse Operations

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Process Assistant to support daily operations at its first robotics site in Australia. Reporting to an Area Manager, you will help ensure smooth workflow, safety, and performance across the assigned area.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Area Manager with labor allocation, meeting facilitation, and job assignment.
• Provide vacation coverage and policy follow‑up, including attendance tracking.
• Track and report ATS/labor hours and associate performance metrics.
• Train associates, verify SOP compliance, and update SOPs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, reporting hazards immediately.
• Participate in operational excellence and safety initiatives.
• Fill in with production duties when required.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 49 lb, stand or walk for up to 12‑hour shifts, and perform frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
• Eligibility to work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
