Principal / Senior Flooding & Stormwater Engineer

About the role

Egis Group is seeking a Principal or Senior Flooding & Stormwater Engineer for its Queensland operations. You will join a passionate team delivering innovative flood and stormwater solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review hydraulic, hydrological and water quality models for flood studies, impact assessments and WSUD design.
• Manage private and government projects, liaise with clients, attend meetings and prepare progress updates.
• Prepare and review technical reports and flood overlays for planning schemes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in flooding and stormwater engineering within a consultancy.
• Tertiary engineering degree (Civil or Environmental); CPENG and/or RPEQ highly desired.
• Demonstrated project management and client relationship skills.

Required skills

• Hydraulic modelling software: TUFLOW, MUSIC, WBNM, RORB, URBS, HECRAS.
• GIS tools: QGIS, ArcGIS, MapInfo.
• Design of WSUD infrastructure and development approval processes.
