About the role
Rasmussen State School is seeking enthusiastic primary teachers for two temporary positions: Health and Physical Education (Prep‑Year 6) and a District Relieving Teacher (Prep‑Year 6). Both roles support a vibrant learning community of over 400 students.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Health, Physical Education, or general curriculum lessons for Prep to Year 6.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a supportive school environment.
- Participate in school events, sports carnivals, and cultural activities.
Required profile
- Relevant teaching qualification (full or provisional QCT registration).
- Australian working rights or a valid visa.
- Ability to work with early‑career, beginning, or experienced teachers.
- Commitment to the temporary contract dates (July 2026 – December 2026).
