Lecturer – Paramedicine (Full‑time)

About the role

CQUniversity is seeking two motivated Lecturers in Paramedicine to join its School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences. You will shape the next generation of paramedics through teaching, curriculum design and industry engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lectures, simulation sessions and clinical‑focused activities for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Lead and manage the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) portfolio, including curriculum design, industry partnerships and student placements.
• Contribute to curriculum development, unit coordination, research and scholarly activities.

Required profile

• Completed undergraduate degree in Paramedicine; postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to complete a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.
• Proven experience teaching and supervising students across diverse learning environments.

Required skills

• Curriculum development and evaluation using flexible delivery modes.
• Engagement with industry partners, community stakeholders and professional networks.
• Development and delivery of low‑ to high‑fidelity clinical simulation (highly desirable).

What we offer

• Total remuneration $138,968–$161,953 per year (including 17% superannuation).
