Primary French Bilingual Teacher (Prep‑Year 6)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and innovative teacher to join the French Australian Bilingual Program, delivering primary education from Prep to Year 6 across Tingalpa State School and Whites Hill State College. The position starts on 13 July 2026 and focuses on fostering bilingual proficiency and intercultural understanding.

Key responsibilities

• Manage classroom environments effectively and create engaging, student‑centred lessons.
• Deliver differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with year‑level teams and the French Bilingual Program team to ensure curriculum alignment.
• Incorporate both Australian and French curricula where appropriate.
• Support student wellbeing and promote global citizenship.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., CRPE) and full or provisional QCT registration.
• Australian working rights or a valid visa.
• Experience teaching French in a primary setting is highly desirable.
• Pre‑service and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply, providing practicum reports, mentor statements and unofficial transcripts.
