Pre-Sales Consultant - Emerging Tech & AI

About the role

LexisNexis is looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant focused on emerging technology and AI, based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with a hybrid arrangement of two days per week in the office. You will work with law firms, corporate legal teams and government organisations to help them adopt AI and document management solutions, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver product and technical presentations and run customer workshops
• Partner with sales teams and build expertise in LexisNexis' AI and Document Management System (DMS) solutions
• Act as a subject matter expert on AI and DMS technologies, keeping up with industry trends
• Work with account teams to engage prospective clients and show how the solutions deliver value
• Support proposals, tenders, RFP responses and sales collateral
• Build relationships with executives, technical teams and business decision-makers
• Gather customer insights and market feedback and share them with product teams

Required profile

• Experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting, sales engineering or technical sales
• Experience with SaaS, software or technology-based solutions
• Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience delivering software demonstrations and solution workshops
• Sound understanding of AI technologies and their business applications
• Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Problem-solving skills, a consultative approach and commercial acumen
• Legal technology, document management or legal industry experience is highly regarded but not essential
