Practice Manager - Cardiac Practice Support

About the role

Advara HeartCare is looking for an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a multidisciplinary team across its Brisbane clinics in Milton, Greenslopes and Mount Ommaney. The role drives continuous improvement of systems and procedures for the support services, clerical staff and cardiac services, and builds strong relationships across clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive an innovative team culture focused on exceptional patient care and outcomes.
• Oversee daily front-desk operations, including reception, answering phones and managing patient appointments.
• Manage the clinic diary, including consultations and tests, against utilisation targets and KPIs, and support hospital admissions.
• Handle financial requirements: daily reconciliation, billing, banking and month-end.
• Support the cardiologists and champion Advara HeartCare initiatives for quality, efficiency and access.
• Build effective relationships and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven ability to deliver patient care and stakeholder service.
• Strong leadership experience aligned with organisational values.
• Stakeholder management across all staff levels, and commercial acumen, including local business plans.
• Experience in administration or customer service, ideally in healthcare or aged care.
• Time management, excellent communication and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Nice to have: calm, professional attitude, collaborative mindset, high attention to detail and comfort with clinical administration software.
