Practice Lead – Microsoft

About the role

blueAPACHE is seeking an experienced Practice Lead – Microsoft to drive strategy, growth and commercial success of its Microsoft business. You will shape the service portfolio, maximise partnership value and lead new opportunities across Modern Work, Security, Azure, Data and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Microsoft practice strategy to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with Microsoft and ecosystem partners.
• Own the services portfolio, including development, pricing, packaging and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Drive commercial performance through forecasting, budgeting, margin optimisation and incentive program management.
• Support strategic customer engagements and complex opportunities as a senior Microsoft SME.
• Build enablement programs for sales and delivery teams to consistently position and deliver Microsoft solutions.
• Lead development of new advisory and AI‑focused services, including business cases and commercial models.

Required profile

• Significant senior‑level experience in a Microsoft practice, alliance or solution leadership role within an MSP, systems integrator or Microsoft partner.
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Security, Azure, Data, AI, Copilot) and partner programs, incentives and commercial frameworks.
• Proven track record of owning commercial outcomes – budgeting, forecasting, pricing and profitability.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and executive engagement skills.
• Established relationships within Microsoft Australia and the broader partner ecosystem.
