PR Account Manager

About the role

The PR Account Manager will work within Dentsu Creative's Public Relations team, handling corporate and consumer communications across sectors such as automotive, education and financial services. You will translate data, expert commentary and complex issues into compelling media narratives that resonate with journalists.

Key responsibilities

• Drive day‑to‑day momentum across press office and campaign activity, ensuring high‑quality outputs and stakeholder alignment.
• Develop and pitch timely stories across motoring, lifestyle, education, economics, business and consumer trends.
• Build strong relationships with journalists and proactively identify earned‑media opportunities.
• Monitor the media landscape for emerging issues, competitor activity and proactive angles.
• Draft and review PR materials including releases, pitches, briefing notes and coverage reports.
• Collaborate with senior and junior team members and specialists across media, creative and strategy to deliver integrated PR work.

Required profile

• Experience in a media‑relations heavy PR role, preferably within an agency, corporate or government setting.
• Ability to shape strong media stories for diverse sectors and audiences.
• Comfort working with data, trends, expert commentary and complex subject matter.
• Strong writing skills, sharp attention to detail and the judgement to know when content is client‑ready.
• Organised, proactive and calm under pressure, able to manage multiple deadlines.
