Power Sector Consultant – Asset Management

About the role

The Consultant – Power will join Turner & Townsend’s Asset Management team to deliver advisory projects for clients in the power sector across New South Wales. The role can be based anywhere in Australia, with a preference for Sydney, and involves occasional travel throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients in developing Asset Management capabilities, focusing on investment planning, maturity, data and information, and software solutions.
• Facilitate internal and external workshops, produce reports, and deliver presentations with senior team guidance.
• Assist business development activities, identify new opportunities, and build client relationships.
• Apply good project‑management practices to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery.
• Develop and execute communication strategies for client engagements.

Required profile

• Understanding of project‑management principles and experience delivering work to time, cost and quality targets.
• Proven ability to provide high‑quality service to internal or external customers with strong communication skills.
• Degree‑level qualification preferred (engineering, business, economics or related field).
• Experience in asset management or consulting within power, water/utilities, or asset data and information sectors.
• Knowledge of asset‑intensive industries such as power, water, rail, government or facilities.
• Interest in building a professional network and participating in industry activities.
