Portfolio Fund Manager

About the role

The Portfolio Fund Manager will own fund operations, portfolio management and treasury forecasting for a fast‑growing real‑estate investment platform. Reporting to senior leadership, you will work closely with borrowers, brokers, investors and internal teams to deliver strong risk‑adjusted outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage portfolio construction, performance monitoring and implementation of investment strategies.
• Produce treasury forecasts, cash‑flow analysis, portfolio and investor reporting.
• Monitor loan portfolio performance, covenant compliance and risk exposures.
• Oversee loan draw‑downs, borrower utilisation requests and project funding requirements.
• Assess construction and development progress across a range of property projects.
• Analyse feasibility studies, cost‑to‑complete positions and Quantity Surveyor reports.
• Build and maintain sophisticated Excel models for forecasting, scenario analysis and executive decision‑making.
• Collaborate with credit, legal, compliance and finance stakeholders to deliver efficient portfolio outcomes.

Required profile

• Significant experience in structured lending, investment management, commercial finance or private credit.
• Direct exposure to property development, construction finance or real‑estate investment.
• Strong understanding of the full property development lifecycle.
• Experience managing loan portfolios, fund operations or investment portfolios.
• Advanced analytical and reporting skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel modelling, including cash‑flow forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Financial modelling for portfolio and treasury forecasting.
