Portfolio Account Specialist – Immunology (QLD & WA)

About the role

Novartis is seeking a Portfolio Account Specialist to join its high‑performing Immunology team. The role focuses on promoting foundational immunology therapies for psoriasis (PsO) and hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) across Queensland and Western Australia, working closely with dermatologists and other specialist healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Drive competitive sales growth in the Queensland and Western Australia territory.
• Identify, prioritize and engage high‑potential healthcare professionals and opinion leaders.
• Build and maintain strong, compliant relationships with dermatologists, hospital and specialist stakeholders.
• Develop and execute tailored, value‑based customer engagement plans using data and insights.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design solutions that address unmet patient needs.
• Report technical complaints, adverse events and support compliant distribution of marketing samples.

Required profile

• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial environments.
• Strong account management background, preferably within hospital, specialist or dermatology settings.
• Demonstrated ability to work across complex healthcare ecosystems with multiple stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen with a growth mindset and willingness to take considered risks.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• High standards of compliance, ethics and professional integrity.
