Porter - Part-Time

About the role

Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park, part of the Accor group, is looking for an energetic, service-oriented Porter with an eye for detail to join its Concierge Team. The hotel sits opposite Albert Park Lake, offers 378 rooms, a restaurant and bar, wellness amenities including a pool and gym, and hosts a large conference centre.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests
• Carry luggage
• Handle parking and retrieval of guest cars
• Escort guests to their rooms
• Explain the hotel facilities
• Provide tourism information and dining and entertainment recommendations

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hotel or serviced apartments environment preferred
• Good written and spoken English
• Sound knowledge of the local area
• Driver's licence required
• Australian working rights required; sponsorship is not available
