About the role
Join Chubb Fire & Security as a Portable Fire Equipment Technician, based in the Perth division. You will travel to customer sites to install, service and maintain a range of fire protection equipment, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards.
Key responsibilities
- Install, service and maintain portable fire equipment such as extinguishers, blankets, hose reels and hydrants on customer premises.
- Conduct testing of smoke detectors and other fire safety devices.
- Use power tools to repair equipment and complete installations.
- Plan routes and schedules using the Field Service mobile application, including overtime for remote sites.
Required profile
- Service‑oriented mindset with strong customer interaction skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to remote locations.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
- Construction white card (or ability to obtain one).
Required skills
- Installation and maintenance of fire protection equipment.
- Use of power tools for equipment repair.
- Basic time and route planning.
