Planning & Trading Manager

About the role

The Planning & Trading Manager will lead end‑to‑end media planning and trading for high‑profile healthcare and purpose‑led brands, managing significant budgets across TV, BVOD, SVOD, radio, OOH and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Director in strategic thinking and linking media implementation to consumer insights.
• Lead media planning and trading across all channels, ensuring rigour and accuracy.
• Champion best practice in media negotiation, buying and implementation.
• Oversee team workflow, WIPs and issue escalation.
• Develop media plans from strategy through execution, aligning with client goals.
• Manage key client relationships and deliver insight‑driven reporting.
• Identify commercial opportunities to grow client investment.
• Mentor junior team members and track performance.

Required profile

• Strong client and media relationship management with influencing ability.
• Deep understanding of all media channels and ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Advanced negotiation and buying skills with knowledge of the local media landscape.
• Analytical, solutions‑oriented mindset and proactive problem‑solving.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and managing team workloads.
