Planner – Rail Infrastructure Projects

About the role
The Planner will develop and maintain schedules for Freight Package 2 on a major rail project, reporting to the Manager of Project Development. The role coordinates design, procurement and construction inputs, tracks progress against the baseline, flags risks early, and prepares clear updates for senior leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain an integrated master schedule for the freight package.
- Break down scope into work packages and analyse critical path and constraints.
- Track progress, variance and lead schedule risk reviews.
- Coordinate inputs across design, procurement and construction teams.
- Prepare concise progress reports and support Stage Gate reviews.
Required profile
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- 3+ years experience in a similar role on civil/rail infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining project schedules.
