Planner Operations – Inbound Logistics

About the role

The Planner Operations reports to the Planning Manager Inbound and ensures the efficient movement of product across Australia and New Zealand. The role combines planning, analysis and coordination of inbound logistics to guarantee on‑time, full deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements across the ANZ supply chain and optimise container utilisation.
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation, monitor shipment progress and communicate risks or delays to stakeholders.
• Validate freight and shipment data in SAP, support volume forecasting, and perform freight costing analysis.
• Process duty recovery claims, manage logistics reports and KPIs, and partner with 3PL providers for inbound deliveries.
• Investigate and resolve shipment, stock and inventory discrepancies while driving continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Logistics or a related field.
• Strong analytical capability, high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a continuous‑improvement orientation.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for large data‑set analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP (highly regarded).
• Exposure to Power BI (preferred).
