Pit & Pathway Scoper

About the role

The Pit & Pathway Scoper ensures that NBN pit and pipe infrastructure is installed to NBN Co. standards while meeting safety, quality and regulatory requirements. You will work autonomously in the field across the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Toowoomba, supported by a collaborative project team.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect NBN pit and pipe infrastructure for compliance with specifications, standards and safety requirements.
• Identify defects, non‑conformances and safety risks, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Complete inspection reports, capture photos, obtain approvals and update remediation status using digital systems such as Apian.
• Collaborate with contractors, field supervisors and project teams to resolve quality and compliance issues.
• Support quality‑assurance activities to ensure safe, compliant and on‑time project delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in telecommunications, civil construction, utilities or related infrastructure industries.
• Strong understanding of NBN standards and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans and scopes of work.
• High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
• Current driver’s licence and experience using digital inspection tools.
