Pipe Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Pipe Supervisor to lead civil pipe installation crews on our active projects across Australia’s east coast. In this hands‑on position you will manage subcontractors, ensure quality and safety, and help build our internal pipe crew for greater control and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil pipe installation including stormwater, sewer, watermain, culverts, pits and structures.
• Keep crews on schedule, on specification and working safely.
• Manage subcontractors, holding them accountable for quality, safety and productivity.
• Conduct QA checks, grades, alignments, testing, hold points and as‑built documentation.
• Recruit, develop and mentor internal pipe crew as self‑perform capability expands.
• Provide on‑site leadership that teams want to follow.

Required profile

• Solid background in civil pipe installation and on‑site supervision.
• Comfortable reading IFC drawings, specifications and QA requirements.
• Strong communicator able to manage subcontractors and build accountability.
• Pride in workmanship and attention to detail.
• Experience with self‑perform crews is a bonus; attitude and ability are essential.
• QBCC licence highly desirable.
