Pharmacy Operations Manager

About the role

Ramsay Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead both hospital and community pharmacy operations across Australia. Reporting to the Head of Pharmacy, you will oversee a network of more than 100 locations and a workforce of approximately 1,400 staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for hospital and community pharmacy services, ensuring compliance with standards, policies and procedures.
• Drive business improvement initiatives, manage revenue and profitability targets, and oversee labour cost efficiency.
• Lead, coach and develop Area Managers and the wider pharmacy team, fostering employee engagement and succession planning.
• Champion patient‑centred care, monitor Net Promoter Score targets and ensure timely resolution of operational incidents.

Required profile

• Qualified Pharmacist with senior management experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, including budget management and operational execution.
• Exceptional leadership, people development and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Advanced organisational and communication skills with a data‑driven approach to continuous improvement.
