Pharmacy Dispensing Consultant (Casual)

About the role

We are looking for a casual Pharmacy Dispensing Consultant to deliver onboarding, training and on‑site support for BD Rowa pharmacy automation systems across Brisbane and the wider Queensland region. The role offers flexible work of approximately 20–30 hours per month, ideal for professionals who want hands‑on, meaningful work without a full‑time commitment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structured and informal training sessions to pharmacy staff on BD Rowa systems.
• Teach correct workflow, safe operation and best‑practice use of automation equipment.
• Demonstrate features, functionality and benefits to pharmacists and technicians.
• Provide hands‑on support during training or transition periods and assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Tailor training to different experience levels and learning styles.
• Support the creation of training materials, guides and standard operating procedures.
• Capture feedback and relay insights to BD project management and training teams.
• Plan and schedule visits in coordination with the Project Management team and offer pre‑visit phone support.

Required profile

• Background in pharmacy, nursing, dispensing, healthcare education or a similar customer‑facing healthcare role.
• Strong communication and people skills with confidence presenting to small groups or one‑on‑one.
• Ability to explain technical concepts simply and calmly.
• Customer‑service mindset, reliable and well‑organized.
• Willingness to travel to multiple pharmacy locations; travel time and costs are reimbursed.
