Pharmacy Assistant – Dispensary Support at Lavarack Health Centre

About the role

Join a professional, multidisciplinary team at Lavarack Health Centre supporting pharmacy services for Defence members. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to ensure accurate dispensing and stock management in a safe, respectful environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support dispensing activities under pharmacist supervision.
• Coordinate receipt, distribution and rotation of pharmaceutical stock, monitoring expiry dates.
• Handle disposal of expired or damaged stock in line with policy.
• Assist with stocktakes of medical and dental supplies.
• Provide customer service and general dispensary support.

Required profile

• Dispensary Assistant/Technician qualification or equivalent.
• Recent experience in a pharmacy or dispensary environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Defence clearance.

• Pharmaceutical stock management.
