Pharmacy Assistant - Compounding Pharmacy

About the role

TerryWhite Chemmart Penrith Compounding is a specialised community pharmacy offering high-quality healthcare services and personalised patient care, combining traditional pharmacy services with pharmaceutical compounding. It is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant, working up to 38 hours per week with weekend availability required on the roster.

Key responsibilities

• Be one of the first points of contact for customers and deliver exceptional service
• Support retail sales and assist customers with over-the-counter medicines where appropriate
• Maintain a high standard of merchandising and store presentation
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations, including housekeeping and stock awareness
• Use pharmacy systems and computers confidently
• Manage multiple tasks in a busy and varied environment
• Communicate well with customers and filter enquiries appropriately

Required profile

• Previous community pharmacy experience
• An S2S3 qualification
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-focused mindset
• Enjoys helping customers and supporting colleagues
• Right to live and work in Australia
