Pharmacist in Charge – Mental Health Dispensary

About the role

Join Ramsay Pharmacy as the Pharmacist in Charge, leading the pharmaceutical operations of a 114‑bed mental health clinic. You will ensure the highest standards of patient care, medication safety, and regulatory compliance while supporting a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical pharmacy services and medication management for mental health patients.
• Lead pharmacy operations, clinical services, and coordinate therapeutic drug monitoring.
• Oversee clinical trials and ensure compliance with TGA, AHPRA and NSQHS accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff and clinic management to optimise patient outcomes.
• Manage inventory, budgets and operational efficiency of the dispensary.
• Implement innovative pharmacy practices and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA as a pharmacist.
• Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy, preferably within a mental health setting.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care and independent work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Membership with AdPha is preferred.
