Pharmacist – Hospital & Community Pharmacy

About the role

Ramsay Pharmacy is seeking a motivated Pharmacist to join the experienced team at Westmead Private Hospital on a permanent full‑time basis. Working in a hybrid hospital‑community setting, you will deliver specialised medication management, clinical services and retail pharmacy duties.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications for in‑patients, discharges and outpatient prescriptions.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services on hospital wards, including medication reviews and reconciliation.
• Deliver community pharmacy services such as vaccinations and electronic script dispensing.
• Manage daily dispensary operations and stock control.
• Mentor pharmacy students and junior staff, and participate in quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration.
• High level of computer literacy and experience with dispensing software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Hospital pharmacy experience is valued; vaccination accreditation preferred.
