Personal Care Worker/PCA - Nutrition (Casual)

About the role

Estia Health Oakleigh East is looking for experienced Personal Care Workers/Attendants (PCAs) to join its team as Personal Care Worker/PCA - Nutrition on a casual basis. The home is focused on excellent care and comfort, sits on a quiet residential street near public transport and local shops, and offers multilingual staff and a multicultural programme of activities. The nutrition and hydration service is being moved to a more traditional restaurant model with front-of-house and back-of-house team members.

Key responsibilities

• Help residents with their meals and drinks, following Estia Health's personalised meal service guidelines.
• Support residents' daily life so they feel heard, comfortable and well fed.
• Assist residents who require additional support and care.
• Help residents enjoy meaningful and engaging activities.
• Be a supportive friend to residents and respect each person's privacy and dignity.

Required profile

• A Cert III or IV in Aged Care.
• Team player and great communicator with a desire to make a difference in people's lives.
