Personal Care Worker - Nutrition (Casual)

About the role

Estia Health Dandenong is looking for an experienced carer to join its team as a Personal Care Attendant/Worker in Nutrition on a casual basis. The home is close to Dandenong Hospital, public transport and a multicultural shopping area. As part of the move to a more traditional restaurant-style meal service with front-of-house and back-of-house teams, you will help residents with their meals and drinks while following Estia Health's personalised meal service guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Help residents with their meals and drinks, following the centre's personalised meal service guidelines.
• Support daily life so residents feel heard, comfortable and well fed.
• Assist residents who need additional support and care.
• Help residents take part in meaningful and engaging activities.
• Be a supportive friend to residents and respect each person's privacy and dignity.

Required profile

• A Cert III or IV in Aged Care.
• Team player and great communicator with a desire to make a difference in people's lives.
• Experience as a carer.
