About the role

Estia Health Wattle Glen is looking for experienced Personal Care Workers to join its team as Personal Care Attendant - Nutrition on a casual basis, working a range of morning and afternoon shifts. The home is situated in a quiet, leafy semi-rural suburb of Melbourne's north-east, close to shops and hospitals. The role supports the move to a more traditional restaurant-style meal service with front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Key responsibilities

• Help residents with their meals and drinks, following Estia Health's personalised meal service guidelines.
• Support residents' daily life so they feel heard, comfortable and well-fed.
• Assist residents who require additional support and care.
• Help residents enjoy meaningful and engaging activities.
• Be a supportive friend to residents and respect each person's privacy and dignity.

Required profile

• A Cert III or IV in Aged Care.
• Team player and great communicator with a desire to make a difference in people's lives.
