Personal Assistant – Audit Practice

About the role
Join BDO's Audit and Assurance team in Sydney as a Personal Assistant, providing high‑level administrative and operational support to Audit & Assurance Partners and their teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Partner calendars, appointments, meetings and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Handle financial administration including WIP, debtors, accounts payable queries and client billing.
- Provide general admin support such as document production, expenses, timesheets, printing, scanning, filing and desk bookings.
- Oversee compliance requirements in line with the Firm’s Risk Management Policies.
- Prepare tenders, client presentations, organise events and maintain the CRM database.
- Book domestic and international travel for Partners and the team.
- Collaborate with the Audit team and Shared Services to ensure efficient service‑line operation.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Personal or Team Assistant, preferably in professional services.
- Proactive, solutions‑focused with strong judgement and high discretion handling confidential information.
- Excellent organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, clients and colleagues.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Experience with CRM and practice‑management systems such as MS Dynamics 365 and Workday PSA (or similar).
