Permanent Part-Time Nanny

About the role

A family in Bardon, Brisbane West, is looking for an experienced, reliable nanny for a long-term, permanent part-time position. The role centres on a 16-month-old girl, with occasional kindy pick-ups for her 4-year-old brother later on. The family values stability and loyalty, and the parents often work from home on the nanny's days.

Key responsibilities

• Sole-charge care of the 16-month-old, with the occasional kindy pick-up for the older child
• Play-based learning through music, dancing and outdoor play
• Daily outings
• Basic meal preparation for the children
• Children's laundry and light child-related household duties
• Feeding the family dog

Required profile

• At least 3 years of nanny or childcare experience, including recent care of toddlers
• Proven record of staying long term with families
• Stable working history
• Desirable: early childhood qualification (Cert III or Diploma)

Required skills

• Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Recent National Police Check
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current driver's licence (family car provided)
• Verifiable, recent references
