People Services Lead

About the role

Liebherr-Australia is looking for a People Services Lead to run a high-performing HR shared services function that supports employees and leaders across the business. Reporting to the People Operations Leader, this newly created leadership role shapes service delivery, technology adoption and employee experience across Australia and New Zealand. The base is in Adelaide, Sydney or Perth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a nationally dispersed People Services team, fostering capability, collaboration and service excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and simplification of people processes to improve efficiency and the employee experience.
• Partner with the HR Systems team to maximise adoption and value from SAP SuccessFactors, reducing manual activity and increasing self-service.
• Lead and deliver strategic People & Capability projects, meeting stakeholder engagement and compliance requirements.
• Provide expert HR advisory support to employees and leaders on a broad range of people matters.
• Optimise service delivery models and strengthen self-service solutions with internal stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor service measures, team performance metrics and customer satisfaction indicators, using data to drive decisions.

Required profile

• Proven success leading HR Shared Services, People Operations or Employee Services teams in medium to large, multi-site organisations.
• Experience leading operational transformation, service redesign, process optimisation or continuous improvement programs.
• Experience supporting blue-collar, trade-based, field service, manufacturing, mining, engineering or industrial workforces.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments, HR compliance and employee lifecycle processes.
• Ability to analyse data, prepare reports and identify process improvements.
• Well-developed stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
