About the role
NAISDA is seeking a proactive People & Organisation Culture Administrator to support HR administration and ensure our campus environments are welcoming, safe, and aligned with organisational values. This role will work closely with staff, managers, and external partners to deliver high‑quality HR services.
Key responsibilities
- Organise and manage HR administrative systems, records and HRIS data.
- Support delivery of People and Organisation Culture programs, projects and processes.
- Facilitate onboarding and off‑boarding, including contracts, inductions and exit interviews.
- Assist recruitment activities such as advertising, shortlisting, interview coordination, reference checks and employment contracts.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, position descriptions and organisational charts.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics and required documentation.
- Manage People and Organisation Culture content on SharePoint.
- Provide day‑to‑day advice to staff on HR processes and entitlements.
- Liaise with payroll, managers and external stakeholders to ensure efficient HR administration.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with policies and procedures.
Required profile
- Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander under the NSW Anti‑Discrimination Act exemption.
- Relevant HR qualification or currently studying for one.
- Experience in a similar HR administration or People & Organisation Culture support role.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with sensitivity to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- High level of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism.
- Client‑focused approach with strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in the not‑for‑profit sector is desirable.
Required skills
- HRIS (human resources information system) proficiency.
- SharePoint content management.
- Microsoft Office suite – Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
