People Analyst

About the role

The People Analyst will be the sole analyst driving people strategy through data insights, workforce planning and process excellence. Reporting to the Head of Reward, you will partner with the People team, care units and support services to shape organisational outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and forecast workforce data to identify trends, risks and capability gaps.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting models and forecasting tools for workforce performance, demographics and talent metrics.
• Research aged‑care and healthcare sector trends, competitor reports and technology developments to inform workforce planning.
• Maintain people frameworks such as position management, job architecture, grading and remuneration data.
• Administer employee engagement surveys and provide post‑survey analysis.
• Support organisational design initiatives, including spans of control, rostering solutions and gender equity reporting.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar analytics role with strong numerical focus.
• Commitment to HammondCare’s Christian mission and inclusive values.
• Ability to work autonomously, proactively and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Intermediate MS Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas).
• Data visualisation and reporting experience.
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
