People & Culture Business Partner

About the role

The People & Culture Business Partner will align people strategies with Hearth Support Services' organisational goals, driving culture, engagement and capability initiatives. This role blends strategic HR partnership with organisational development to boost performance and employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce planning, performance management, employee relations and talent strategies.
• Support recruitment, succession planning and retention initiatives.
• Coach managers on people management and leadership development.
• Facilitate employee engagement, recognition and wellbeing programs.
• Conduct organisational diagnostics, employee surveys and action planning to improve culture.
• Identify and implement improvements to HR systems, workflows and policies.
• Lead projects that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
• Champion organisational values, diversity, equity and inclusion across all levels.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business or related field.
• 3+ years experience in HR Business Partnering, Organisational Development or a combined People & Culture role.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies and best practices.
• High degree of discretion, professionalism and integrity.
• Analytical, data‑driven problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
