PDI Technician – New Car Storage/PDI Centre

About the role

We are looking for a skilled PDI Technician to join our busy Pre‑Delivery Inspection Centre in Sydney. The role involves hands‑on mechanical work to ensure new vehicles are delivered in perfect condition.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑delivery inspections on new vehicles.
• Fit accessories, parts, and protective equipment as required.
• Conduct quality checks and report any defects or issues.
• Complete basic mechanical tasks and adjustments.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
• Update job cards and documentation in line with dealership processes.
• Collaborate with PDI, service, and logistics teams.

Required profile

• Experience as a PDI Technician, mechanic or automotive technician (preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow manufacturer procedures and quality standards.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
