Payroll Officer (Part‑time Contract)

About the role

Enero is seeking a Payroll Officer to support the integration of a new HRIS (Sage People) with our payroll system (HR3). The role will involve ensuring accurate data mapping, error reporting, and supporting payroll process improvements across our brands.

Key responsibilities

• Manage fortnightly/monthly payroll, including salaries, overtime, bonuses and deductions.
• Calculate and process superannuation contributions and PAYG withholding, ensuring compliance with ATO deadlines.
• Submit Single Touch Payroll (STP) reports each pay cycle.
• Oversee leave management, award compliance, termination payments and payroll tax reporting.
• Reconcile payroll, superannuation and tax deductions and respond to employee queries.
• Support the HR3 side of the Sage People integration, mapping fields, testing and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of payroll processes and legislation.
• Hands‑on experience with HR3 or similar payroll platforms.
• Ability to manage project‑level requirements with accuracy and timeliness.
• Experience establishing new payroll processes and documenting best practices.
• Strong communication skills across multiple stakeholder levels.
