Part‑time Optometrist – Perth, Scotland

About the role

Vision Express is seeking a qualified optometrist to join its busy Perth store located within Tesco. Working three days a week, you will have access to fully equipped test rooms featuring OCT, a phoropter and a fundus camera, enabling you to provide high‑quality eye care to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using OCT, phoropter and fundus camera equipment.
• Deliver clear diagnoses and treatment recommendations, building patient confidence.
• Collaborate with the store team to achieve commercial targets and maintain high service standards.
• Participate in optional overtime shifts through the TG Pool network.

Required profile

• Qualified, GOC‑registered optometrist.
• Strong clinical expertise with a focus on patient care.
• Team‑oriented mindset, willing to share ideas and support colleagues.
• Commitment to contributing to the store’s commercial success.

Required skills

• Proficiency operating OCT imaging equipment.
• Experience using a phoropter for refractive assessments.
• Ability to capture retinal images with a fundus camera.

What we offer

• Salary up to £69,000 per year, plus a £4,000 car allowance.
