Partnerships Executive (Media and Marketing)

About the role

The NBL Group, behind Australia's National Basketball League (NBL) and Women's National Basketball League (WNBL), is looking for a Partnerships Executive in Melbourne. The role brings partner brands to life across digital, social and events, shaping partner campaigns from idea through media planning, content and launch. It is an established role in a growing business, covering partnerships, media and live events.

Key responsibilities

• Create and run partner campaigns with the marketing team, from start to finish
• Build media plans that place partners in front of the right fans
• Shape branded content, integrations and competitions with NBL Media
• Coordinate partner activations and player appearances at live events
• Set marketing and media KPIs with each partner and their account manager
• Track campaign results and report clear value back to partners
• Keep marketing, media, events and agencies working together on deliverables

Required profile

• Experience in partnerships, sponsorship, marketing or media
• Organised, calm under pressure and detail-oriented
• Follows through on commitments and takes ownership of results
• Strong relationships with partners, agencies and colleagues
• A love of basketball is a bonus, not a requirement

Required skills

• Digital content creation, from brief to published
• Media planning across digital, social and broadcast
• Microsoft Office, CRM and social analytics
