Partnerships Coordinator

About the role

Vinnies Queensland is looking for a Partnership Coordinator for a permanent, part-time position (22.8 hours per week) based in Nambour. The role develops and strengthens relationships with donors, sponsors, local businesses and community partners, identifies new partnership and fundraising opportunities and coordinates local campaigns, community events and engagement initiatives, including supporting the delivery of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout.

Key responsibilities

• Support the coordination and delivery of key fundraising campaigns and events, including the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, engaging with participants, sponsors, donors and community partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, local businesses and community partners.
• Identify and develop new partnership and community engagement opportunities.
• Promote the mission and impact of Vinnies through meaningful community engagement.
• Monitor partnership and fundraising outcomes, maintain accurate records and identify opportunities for improvement.

Required profile

• Proactive and enthusiastic person who enjoys building meaningful connections.
• Experience in partnerships, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, community development, events, marketing or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative and proactive approach to identifying opportunities and achieving outcomes.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Genuine commitment to the mission and values of Vinnies Queensland.
• An appropriate visa to work in Australia/New Zealand.
• Not-for-profit or community services experience is highly regarded but not essential.

What we offer

• Salary of $47.17 per hour ($93,207.92 per annum) plus superannuation and salary packaging.
• Salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually, plus an additional $2,650 for meals and entertainment.
