Partnerships Consultant

About the role

Urbis, a multidisciplinary urban consultancy, is looking for a Partnerships Consultant to join its Brand & Clients team. You will support strategic partnerships, sponsorships, memberships and thought leadership initiatives that connect Urbis with the organisations, conversations and ideas shaping Australia's cities and communities. The role works across the business and with external partners, bringing campaigns, events and industry engagement opportunities to life.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management of the partnerships, sponsorships and memberships portfolio, keeping records, databases and activation plans accurate.
• Coordinate speaking opportunities, events, committee participation and industry engagement activities.
• Assist with thought leadership campaigns and partnership activations across digital, social and event channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry bodies, professional associations and external partners.
• Help internal stakeholders maximise the value of memberships, sponsorships and partnerships.
• Monitor performance, maintain reporting and share insights and recommendations for future opportunities.
• Manage project activity and workflows through systems such as Monday.com.
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive workplace in line with WHS policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business, public relations or a related discipline.
• At least two years' experience in a partnerships, sponsorships, marketing, communications, stakeholder engagement, business development or similar role.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience maintaining databases, records and reporting.
• Interest in emerging technologies, including AI and Microsoft Copilot.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience in a professional services, consulting or B2B environment is highly regarded.
