Part-Time Tax Accountant (Graduate Level) – Immediate Start

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Intermediate/Graduate Tax Accountant to join our growing practice in Campsie on a part‑time basis. This position offers an immediate start and the opportunity to develop your accounting and taxation skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for a variety of entity types.
• Manage and process all types of tax returns.
• Perform account reconciliations.
• Liaise directly with clients and deliver high‑quality service.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Support ongoing process improvements within the firm.

Required profile

• Graduate or third‑year undergraduate studying Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Completed taxation subjects (for third‑year applicants).
• Full Australian working rights and able to work onsite.
• Residing within a reasonable commuting distance to Campsie, NSW.
• Strong analytical and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MYOB (all modules except inventory).
• Proficiency with XERO (all modules except inventory).
• Payroll processing experience.
• HandiTax and HandiLedger knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and Word skills.
• Familiarity with AI tools or willingness to learn.
