Part-Time Studio Operations Specialist

About the role

Pronto Pilates is a rapidly growing fitness brand opening new studios nationally, offering affordable, all-day reformer Pilates classes. It is looking for a part-time, hands-on Studio Operations Specialist for its Chermside studio, reporting directly to the Studio Success Manager. The role is responsible for the members' experience in the studio.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, adjust and maintain exercise equipment
• Maintain studio comfort and ambience by monitoring lighting, temperature and odours, using air freshening methods
• Manage stock and coordinate deliveries
• Monitor and troubleshoot the robot vacuum/mop
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for occasional studio maintenance
• Be on call for occasional urgent cleaning and maintenance needs
• Engage proactively with members and connect with local businesses to promote Pronto
• Report to the manager on essential studio statistics

Required profile

• Meticulous attention to cleanliness and order
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
• Self-managing, proactive and reliable in admin or supervisory roles
• Confident connecting with members and local businesses
• No Pilates or fitness experience required; training is provided
• Investors in Pronto Pilates or relatives of investors cannot apply

Working conditions

• Part-time, 6-10 hours per week, contractor role with four set shifts per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and one weekend day)
• Hours outside member peak times (5:15-9:00 am and 4:30-7:30 pm); possible call-outs, events and local networking
• Pay of $30-$40 per hour plus incentives depending on experience
