Part-Time Registered Nurse

About the role

Lyndoch Living, an aged care community in Victoria, is looking for a compassionate, experienced Registered Nurse to join its team on a part-time basis. The nurse delivers high-quality, person-centred care, supports and guides care staff and ensures safe medication management. Availability across morning, afternoon and night shifts, including weekdays and weekends, is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Complete required funding assessments and clinical documentation accurately and efficiently, supporting optimal funding and quality care outcomes
• Maintain high-quality, contemporaneous documentation that reflects care delivery and clinical decision-making
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Extended Care Assistants, supporting safe practice and professional standards
• Uphold confidentiality and ensure staff work safely in line with organisational policies and procedures
• Give clear, concise shift handover and reporting to the Care Manager and General Manager, and identify training and development needs within the team

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions to practice
• Demonstrated clinical experience, preferably in aged care or a related healthcare setting
• Sound knowledge of aged care standards, legislation and best practice
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including night duty as required

• Effective communication and leadership skills, working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
