Part-Time Receptionist

About the role

Royal Sydney, a private members' club in Rose Bay, is looking for a part-time receptionist to report to the Clubhouse Operations Manager. You will be the hub of information, creating a seamless member and guest experience and delivering high service standards. The role is 15-25 hours a week, with rotating shifts from 5.30am to 9.30pm covering weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the highest standard of service to members and guests.
• Ensure the Club's rules and regulations are followed, including dress regulations.
• Assist members and guests with enquiries professionally and promptly.
• Organise accommodation bookings, confirm requests before check-in, and perform check-ins and check-outs.
• Organise bookings for the Dining Room and Club Bar.
• Keep the Green Book up to date with daily meetings, fixtures and upcoming events.
• Order taxis and Uber rides for members and guests as needed.
• Help members and guests with purchases in the Cellar Door and other reception-based retail initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a reception or administration role.
• Demonstrated passion for customer service.
• Strong organisational skills and composure under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid NSW RSA and working rights in Australia.

Required skills

• Intermediate computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
