About the role
W Brisbane, a luxury hotel in Brisbane City, is hiring a part-time Demi Chef. You will help uphold the high culinary standards expected in a premium hospitality setting, working alongside senior chefs and contributing to the kitchen's smooth operation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklists.
- Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent food quality, efficient service and smooth kitchen operations.
- Support the senior chefs by making sure all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked workstation while following hygiene, food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Help mentor and guide junior chefs and kitchen team members as needed.
