Part-Time Customer Service & Sales Consultant - Pacific Fair

About the role

Telstra is hiring a part-time Retail Customer Service & Sales Consultant at its Pacific Fair store on the Gold Coast. The consultant provides frontline support by helping customers choose products, activate services and troubleshoot basic issues, creating positive experiences through good communication and adherence to retail standards.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers find the right products and services for their needs
• Stay up to date with the latest gadgets and services and give informed advice
• Use consultative selling to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Work with the team to create a welcoming environment and support store goals

Required profile

• Great communication skills and a solution-oriented approach
• Sales drive and motivation to exceed targets
• Eagerness to learn and a resilient, positive attitude
• Customer-facing experience is a plus but not required

• Pay of $33.33 per hour, with junior rates for those under 20
• Penalty rates: 25% extra after 6 PM on weekdays, 25% on Saturdays, 100% on Sundays and 150% on public holidays
