Part-Time and Casual Cook – Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health Oakleigh East, a friendly aged care residence in a quiet residential street near public transport and local shops, is looking for experienced cooks to join its team on a permanent part-time or casual basis. The role supports the kitchen team in delivering fresh, wholesome meals tailored to residents' needs.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management
• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences
• Prepare healthy, nutritious and delicious meals for residents
• Support the wider kitchen team in delivering a memorable dining experience

Required profile

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Some experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care experience highly regarded)
• Experience with a broad range of cuisines and dietary requirements, responding to the social, spiritual and cultural needs of residents
• Great communication and documentation skills
