About the role
A recruitment agency is seeking a reliable temporary Parks Worker to join Sunshine Coast Regional Council's team in Caloundra. The role suits someone with horticulture or arboriculture qualifications who enjoys outdoor work and helping maintain council parks and public spaces. It is a casual engagement from 2 November 2026 to 30 January 2027, working 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, paid $43.51 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with parks and grounds maintenance.
- Help maintain council parks, gardens and public spaces.
- Undertake practical outdoor maintenance duties.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum Certificate II in Horticulture or Arboriculture.
- Practical parks and grounds maintenance experience.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable with physical, outdoor work.
Required skills
- Current Class C driver's licence.
